Climate Smart Agriculture
We are pleased to announce that Geosmart, in partnership with TerraClim, Stellenbosch University, METOS SA and PESSL Instruments (Austria), has been successful in its bid to significantly extend the network of weather stations in the Western Cape to more than 500 to better understand the potential impact of climate change on the agricultural (and other) industries. The project, which is co-funded by EUREKA and TIA, has now started and we are holding a webinar to explain the project goals and benefits.
